I grew up in Maryland and studied at Columbus College of Art and Design.
After graduating, I worked as a freelance graphic designer for local businesses, magazines, and newspapers. The freelance work involved designing various websites, ads, branding, promotional materials, and arranging photo shoots as well as hiring photographers and models.
Eventually I returned to Maryland and got a job with Traders' Library, designing websites, book covers, and book templates. In 2006 I started working for the Smithsonian where I designed environmental graphics and interior design for various stores, restaurants, and theaters for the National Museum of American History, National Museum of Natural History, National Air and Space Museum, National Museum of the American Indian, National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian American Art Museums and Reagan National Airport. I also designed ads, banners, promotional materials, and wayfinding signs for many of the IMAX theaters and museum stores. I was also a member of the team in charge of redesigning the National Museum of American History.
Currently I am working for Inmarsat Government as a multimedia designer, creating collateral, presentations, branded special events, websites, interactive flash diagrams and trade show videos, strengthening the company's brand identity. In my free time, I continue to do freelance work on the side.
